P’ARCNOUVEAU ‘s design for the new business hotel in the center of Milan.
A quiet and beautiful garden is thought to be the external hall that connects all the facilities of the new business hotel.
The business restaurant, the lounge café, the entrance are all related with the courtyard. A linear canal runs all along the garden and remind the tradition of water in the city of Milan. Specially-designed pots made with metal net dot the garden surrounded by a movement of soil that creates an intimate feeling where people can meet each other and make business. Canopies and crowns of trees paly with the shade and make more comfortable the dehors area. The entrance square is designed as a typical Milanese plaza, made by stone and reflecting water as Gio Ponti did with his buildings. The water reflects the sky expanding the space perception and the stones give the massive feeling that characterize the city of Milan.
