The project involves the redevelopment of a series of small areas and common spaces that ring together in a unitary narrative of the public space also thanks to the presence of an architectural artefact such as the pedestrian gallery. The gallery creates an important urban axis by connecting Piazza Aldo Moro and numerous schools that follow one another along the axis in Via Savonarola which delimits the commercial area of the city. The redesigned space returns the perception of a unitary space even if extended, capable of offering the citizen the opportunity to enjoy it according to the need and according to age.
Particular attention was paid to raising citizens' awareness of environmental education and sustainability, especially given the particular abundance of school complexes in the area.
From an ecological point of view, the project proposes an intensification of the supply of greenery within the areas which are currently only minerals, recovering and implementing all the minimum filtering areas.
